Kim Bedwell is a food and agribusiness PR and marketing veteran with more than 25 years of experience working with fruit and vegetable commodity organizations, leading brands, commercial and non-commercial foodservice operators, restaurants and registered dietitians. Kim’s combination of food industry know-how, business acumen and creative thinking have been the keys to success for both her clients as well as agency wide.
As Vice President of Integrated Marketing & Communications, Kim provides thought leadership and strategic counsel to all Wild Hive clients and serves as a client lead for campaign and program execution. Prior to joining Wild Hive in 2022, Kim spent six years at Curious Plot where she led key initiatives for clients such as the Mushroom Council, Land O’Lakes, Cotton Incorporated and the National Watermelon Promotion Board, where she earned numerous industry accolades from Produce Business and the National Agri-Marketing Association on behalf of her clients. Most recently, she spearheaded the launch of Land O’Lakes Foodservice’s advertising campaign by overseeing the creative development, setting the media plan strategy and providing the vision for current and future event execution.
Kim spent the first two decades of her career at large, international PR firms including Edelman and FleishmanHillard. She has led consumer marketing efforts for a variety of clients, including The Wonderful Company, Sunsweet, California Olive Committee and the National Honey Board.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in Public Relations from California State University, Chico. She’s served as a board member for the Produce for Better Health Foundation and has been actively involved with the International Foodservice Editorial Council.
