Katherine Marrs, MBA Chief Business Officer

Katherine Marrs is a savvy business leader skilled in the development and implementation of commercial strategy. Her ability to lead bold change while bringing people along has resulted in her success leading high-performing teams.

As the Chief Business Officer, Katherine stewards Wild Hive’s vision and mission both internally with our valued team members and externally with our treasured clients. Katherine maintains operational efficiency for all Wild Hive stakeholders and supports thoughtful growth that will serve the needs of our clients.

Prior to joining Wild Hive, Katherine spent 13 years at Stryker Corporation, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies. There she built five high-performing sales teams, launched a start-up business unit and managed through tremendous change as the company grew from $7 billion to $17 billion. Katherine was an award-winning manager who was frequently selected for advisory roles to executive leaders.

Early in her career, Katherine spent several years consulting at various agencies. One agency in particular, the Sterling-Rice Group, is where Katherine first had the opportunity to work with food and agriculture clients such as the California Strawberry Commission, the California Tree Fruit Agreement, the Almond Board of California, Cascadian Farm and Prairie Grove Farms, among others. She never forgot the feeling of purpose she had supporting those who feed the world. Joining Wild Hive has given Katherine the opportunity to apply her business leadership skills to her appreciation of the food and agriculture industry.

Katherine received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University where she studied marketing and French language. In 2019, she earned her executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business.
